Last day of India trip 2015-2016

January 12th
On this day lots of my friends and relatives came to visit. My two cousin brothers took day off to spent time with me. One of my cousin got me a raw mango of which my aunty made this chutney for me. A group of my school friends visited me and it felt like the fun is now over, but my cousins surprised me at night with Chinese bhel and faluda. The only one thing left in my food checklist was Chinese bhel and they helped me check it off. I mean literally the best people. They made my night.

The day had finally come, I had to say Goodbye and leave for the states. Nothing feels right on the last day and all I kept thinking about is how, I don't want to leave and how much, I love India and the people here and how, hard it's to be to go back and literally count days and months until the next visit. I had a long 3 and half years countdown and wait till this trip and in a wink of an eye it was over. On the final day, its usually all busy. We packed our bags gave hugs to family and that was all. As we were leaving and after we said our final pray. I realized why is it so hard to say goodbye to India. It's because, I don't know the next time, I will get to see everyone again. I know they won't be the same when, I see them again and I won't be the same the next time I visit. In matter of 3 and half years so many things had changed. I got to experience a really different India. My friend's weren't the same everything felt different. My cousins were all grown up and had entered different phases in their life. Its life and we just have to accept it, I guess. With a very heavy heart and with tears in my eyes. I left my country and my home.

Me and my cousin Alisha got engagement because, we didn't want to leave each other alone.
Saying goodbye to Grandma
Bye Mumbai! I love you.
