India trip 2015 | Lifestyle

Surprise surprise!

I'm on my way to India. I know almost all of you knew that, I was visiting home this year but, no one knew when exactly. I had finals till December 21st so, that is what everyone knows. I know me flying almost 2 weeks early is a big surprise. I finished my exams all in my birthday week, took off from work, off from catechism classes for a month. I didn't celebrate much for my birthday as I took finals and had to pack but, I'm sure it's all going to be worth it for my first trip back home. I'm super excited and going through lots and lots of emotions right now.
I honestly feel like three and half years just flew by so fast. I feel when you are living your dream life time is pleasant and every moment is blissful. I couldn't be thankful for the life that, I have, I get to live in my dream land. It was my dream since, I was a little girl to live in US and I also used to imagine how it would be like to come back home and now I'm about to experience that in just 10 hours. It feels like just in a blink of an eye I experienced and lived the life of my dreams and beyond.
To my friends and family, I hope you guys won't get mad for not telling you guys before hand. I hope this surprise will make up for it. I hope we will have a reunion. I want to meet you all. I missed you guys everyday. You guys have a place in my heart forever and you all are my greatest childhood treasure so, doesn't matter where in the world I live, I always miss you guys and think about the good old times. I have a lot to say but, not enough time. I have to board to another flight now in just 15 minutes.
See you guys in less then 10 hours. Love you all.

What I wore for 19th birthday | Fashion

Hey guys!
Thank you for all your wishes on my birthday. I'm so grateful to have such wonderful people in my life. You guys constantly put a smile on my face. Even though, I had to take a like a billion exams (only three but still) on my birthday and during the birthday week. You guys truly made them barely for me. I'm going to keep this post super short as I have to study and focus on exams.
I didn't get a chance to go dinner out on my birthday but I did get to buy a birthday dress and get all dolled up. I wore a designer dress from JS collection which I purchased from lord and Taylor's. This dress describes my style perfectly. This colors is of course my favorite. I love royal blue you guys will see my collections of blue dress in many more posts to come. This dress is mid length and has a very flattering and classy fit. It has beautiful sliver detailing. I paired it with long earring, sliver pencil heels and royal blue bracelet. I curled my hair because I love how they make my look more glamorous with an classy accent.

Black Friday Shopping | Haul

Hello guys! I hope you all are having a great first week of December. It’s holiday season which means crazy shopping time for gifts and parties. I feel like I got quite a few nice things. I went to the mall on this black Friday. I didn’t necessarily find anything amazing on sale. I just got the few things that I had been eyeing for a long time. This is my first haul post so do let me know how you guys like it and should I keep doing more of these.

I went to Sephora just to play around with the makeup and check out few things and ended up buying some incredible things. I first purchased this sample perfume box. In this box I received 12 different perfume samples for $64.00. We can try all this new perfumes and then come back and buy a full size of our favorite perfume. I haven’t yet decided which perfume I’m going to buy. My top favorites so far are Prada,Versace and Giorgio Armani. I honestly do feel all of this perfumes are very unique and there is one out there for everyone. Usually, this one perfume would cost around $125+ but as it was black Friday and as I am beauty insider I got a pretty great deal on it. Sephora had bunch of samples products for just $10.00 I brought three things which I felt like trying.

Clothes purchase, I went to Old navy and Tjmax. Old Navy had the entire store 50% off and they had always had a great variety. I got a pair of white ankle socks, black active athletic pants I already own one from them. I absolutely love it so got a second pair, long dark grey lose sweater which I’m planning on pairing with a  bright and big scarf, light wash threaded jeans shorts and Olive green sweater. I brought some more cute shirts from Tjmax. Orange long check shirt, flowy blue top, and cute long sleeves for everyday usual wear.

I brought one cute glowing Nude powder from Rite aid. This is my first purchase from Physicians formula but I have heard a lot about this brand and absolutely love the packing of their products. Next up; I brought couple jewelry items from Jcpenny’s this weren’t all on sale but I had been eyeing them for a while, so I just went head and brought them. Rose Gold chain bracelet and earrings to pair with my new Michael Kors watch. I will make a blog post soon featuring my new watch. I got a classic Gold watch for everyday it’s by Quarters. I also brought two absolutely stunning neck pieces which are not for me. I brought them for someone as Christmas present. I hope they will love the necklaces.

This was my little shopping that I did in stores. I shopped a lot more online do let me know if you would like to see a haul from my online purchase. I also make mini hauls on snapchat all the time make sure to check it out at “jessi_dias”. To all my international readers black Friday is the day after thanksgiving when we have yearly sales in the US. It’s one of the biggest sales of the year. Lace with grace 2 looks | Fashion

Everyday isn’t about the glam look. I’m so grateful for that! As I enjoy dressing up, I turn my everyday causal outfits into splendid looks by adding a little bit of edge and classic element to it. There are days where I have various different events to attend, but I’m just not too sure of what to wear. I know we all have been in that position. I have finally found a solution for that. Lace dresses are the way to fix that. Everyone can look good in them. That is why we see some kind of lace pattern or design is used in almost every bridal dresses. Lace by itself adds a very elegant touch to a garment. I personally feel that anything lace looks very flattering. I would opt for anything lace for days when I’m unsure.
In this post today, I will be sharing two looks with you guys. My first look is what I like to call shades of grey. This beautiful Body Con dress sole my heart in just one look. I personally think grey is not my color but, I do like to experiment with colors so, I brought this dress anyway. I’m so happy with my purchase. This dress has different lace patterns covering the entire dress from top to bottom. I love that the color fades from light grey to ash grey at the bottom. I feel that the layers of colors add more definition to the lace details. This dress also has stunning shaped back and neck line. I would wear this dress for a night out or for evening party. With Glam makeup look with winged liner.
How I styled the dress
1.      Wore grey heels with sliver sparkle in the front.
2.      Sliver statement necklace.
3.      Pandora bracelet.
4.      Little diamond studs.
5.      Lose curls on one side.

Look two which I’m considering wearing for thanksgiving party this year. If I end up wearing something else I will make a blog post next week. My mom helped me to pick this dress. I’m so happy that we had a similar choice for dress. Black everything is my favorite so, I had to pick this black lace dress. This dress is short and fitted at the bottom and has a split open back. I feel this dress gives illusion of skirt and top as two complementary colors are used to make this stunning one piece. I would wear this dress to almost any event, whether it’s, wedding, party, dinner date, or even church. This dress is a very classic piece. I’m glad I have it in my collection.
How I styled the dress
1.      Black pencil heels.
2.      Gold chain bracelet.
3.      Red lip. Lipstick in color Cherry Frost in shade number 539A.
4.      Fishtail braid on one side.
