Hello Everyone!
August is almost over, which means it is the end of summer and time to go back
to school. It’s definitely sad to see summer coming to an end,
but I'm looking forward to having a fresh start this new school
year. I know I will miss the sun, but I'm excited for autumn. Autumn is my
favorite season of the year, comment down below and let me know what is
your favorite season and why? I'm planning on so many fun events for
fall and I will for sure try to share some of them with all of you.
For now let’s talk about summer cause I could go on and on about my love for
autumn. As I look back on my summer break this year there are so many memories
to cherish. I traveled more than I expected. Out of all the traveling that
I have done this year most of it was near the bodies of water, starting
off from the Niagara Falls in Canada, Silver lake and Lake Michigan. Through
all this traveling I have finally acquired things which I think are
definitely essential for the beach or poolside.
I
have a lot of things to share, so let’s get started. When it comes to poolside
makeup I like to keep it simple and as natural as possible. One of my favorite
pool side products is the Sephora blush as it has a
long-lasting ultra-sheer texture, which is very easy to blend into your
skin. For summer, I like using the shade -Sweet On you- coral pink in
number 05 it comes in a range of colors so you can choose your favorite color.
The best part about this blush is even after swimming the shimmer last. As for
a perfect tan and glowing skin, I love using the Lorac Tantalizer, which is a baked bronzer that makes
the skin look silky-smooth and makes you look sun-kissed even in the evening
which is why this is a great bronzer for all year round and not just
summer. It is a quite expensive product, but it’s totally worth it. They
also have a travel size which is a great choice to just try this bronzer and
have it in your bag for on the go. Another body product which is essential for
summer is a good lotion; I like to use Deep
Blue Dead Sea hand & body lotion, which leaves the skin soft and smooth due to the Calendula
oil content in it. Calendula oil is derived from marigold flowers
which is one of the most effective topical oil. It is good to use before or
after your swim as it works well with sun exposure. For my eyes I like to use
the waterproof Maybelline York‘s Eye
studio Master Precise Ink Pen Eyeliner in black and The
Rocket Volum express mascara. Both of the products work incredibly well
together. We can't forget the lips; I like using the Revlon
lip gloss Super Lustrous in kiss me coral number 255, it is a coral color with tiny
gold shimmer, which looks stunning. My go to perfume this summer has been
the Victoria's Secret
Tempting Love fragrance
mist which is the perfect tropical blend of coconut fruit &
creamy amber fruit if you're not a fan of fruity perfumes J'adore is also one of my all-time favorite
perfume for summer.

Last but not
the least, I love wearing rompers in summer and especially for a pool party
because they are just so easy to dress up and they are super cute and comfy. I
like to pair my romper with sunglasses and with cute sandals. You can never go wrong with a classic black and white romper with a bright pink belt.

Of all the books that I have read this month Confidence is Queen – by Susie
Castillo is one of my favorite. In this book Susie shares her journey of
becoming Miss USA and she explains how she overcame all her obstacles through
positive thinking. She shares her four key tips that kept her going and
believing in her dreams. We all can relate to her story because we all go
through hard times. Does matter how hard our situation is we have control over
everything by having a positive perspective towards it. Her
story is very inspiring and it helped me understand that I have the choice to
change my life and face my struggles or just complain about them and do
nothing. Favorite songs this month Stitches by Shawn Mendes I heard this song first during my vacation up north
and since then I’m hooked (Click on his name to watch his music video). Passion ice tea from Starbucks
is my favorite drink this month. It’s nice and refreshing during any time of
the day.
I hope you enjoyed reading this blog. Please comment down below
and let me know what you love about summer. I hope you all had an amazing
summer break. Good luck for this new school year.
Keep hustling for you
dreams! Xo, Jessi
