Valentine's day look | Fashion

I’ve been meaning to post this look for the longest time. These pictures were shot back in autumn. Finally today, they have made their way to the blog. I brought this dress to add to my winter collection. I always wanted to style asymmetrical cut skirt or dress and this one from Tjmax is the perfect one. It didn’t even take me a while to think about buying it. There are just so many different ways to style this piece. By adding jewelry, layers and with various makeup and hair looks. As Valentine’s Day is just a week away I thought this dress would be a great inspiration.
A day and night looks with this dress. With tunic on top and cut on the bottom this is a chic dress for Valentine’s Day party or a date night. For the night wear a bold statement necklace, add bronze makeup look and lose waves. Of course to complete the look wear some high heels. In day time, try to keep the look simple. I kept my hair away from face with a French braid. Wore long earrings and sliver ring and pair of cream sandals comfortable to walk around all day and still look cute.
Dress- Tjmaxx
Necklace- Forever 21
Heels- Jcpenny’s
Sandals- Thailand gift from cousin
Ring and earrings- Clarie's

Let me know you would style this look in the comments below! Until next time, keep hustling for your dreams. Xo, Jessi

Update for 2016 | Lifestyle

Happy New Year to me I mean literally guys, I’m starting my 2016 from February 1st. Looking back at what a crazy and fun year it was. Starting off from my first Job promotion in January 2015, to finishing my first year of college, visiting two countries, one state, exploring new parts of up north Michigan and the cities near me, exploring Canada with family went up the CN Tower the world’s 6th tallest free-standing structure and 3rd tallest tower in the world overlooking the city from 553m skyline view, African Lion Safari an outstanding experience, Marine land adventure seeing more marine and land animals. I honestly feel like I have seen almost all the animals this past year. Meeting and feeding a Beluga whale and roller coaster rides the Dragon Mountain it was the tallest roller coaster in world before the opening of Magnum XL-200 at Cedar point and the only roller coaster with a bowtie element. Sky Screamer the world’s highest triple tower ride with a spectacular view of the Niagara falls with those two rides I think it’s safe to say I’m not scared of heights anymore thanks Jason for scaring me till death. Seeing the magnificent Niagara Falls for the second time. Next up, Sliver lake sand dunes up north Michigan, exploring nearby cities in Michigan like Port Huron, Grand Haven, Frankenmuth, Troy and Ann Arbor. Second trip to Canada Ontario with friends for geology field study. Cedar Point amusement park in Sandusky Ohio and my favorite and the best of all India trip. That trip is what kept me from posting but I’m finally back at it. Couldn’t ask for a better end and start to this year in my favorite country around family, friends and being home. Lastly I’m happy that I started my blog and I can share it with you all.
So many exciting things to look forward too. I’m pumped to start this year lots of traveling plans, goals and wish list to check off. In today’s update post I want to share two of my resolutions with you guys one is that I’m going to post twice a week. I will keep doing my regular Sunday post as usual but I’m also adding a new series this year. Starting this Thursday I will post my India trip series and later on my new travel adventures. Let me know if you guys are excited for #TravelThursdayswithJD. The Second resolution of the year is to try new restaurants or order something new on the menu. I realized often time I go to a restaurant because I want to eat my favorite food from there but we miss the adventure of exploring something new and different. This year it's about taking chances and trying new things. On the 17th of January  I went to Chili’s for first time and ordered Chicken Bacon Ranch Quesadillas, mango iced tea and Skillet Chocolate Chip cookie for desert. Last week, I went to Bangkok Kitchen my favorite local Thai place. I ordered Thai iced tea and Chicken Thai curry noodles. I won’t say they tasted the best but that’s the fun part.
Enjoy the pictures down below and I hope you guys are excited for 2016 as much as I am. Let’s make this a great year and accomplish great things that we want in our life. It’s never too late to set a new goal. Good luck guys. I wish you all the best and thank you for always being there. I’m so happy to share my life with you all. Until next time, keep hustling for your dreams. Xo, Jessi.

Classic Sunday look | Fashion

Happy Sunday everyone!
Today was amazing it was a completely unplanned day. It turned out to be a very productive and fun day. I woke up with five mosquitos bites on my face. It wasn't very pleasant to wake up too but I had to start off with my day. I attended forth mass with my cousins and walked home. It was very fun to walk home after mass like the old days.
I attended two weddings and got to hang out with my cousins. My cousin treated me with a some Bisleri iced unda. I had my first unda after so many years. It was definitely a highlight of my day. I know I haven't posted in last 3 weeks but I have been really enjoying my days here with family & friends. I will soon make a update post. It will be up sometime this week. Keep a eye on my Instagram to get notification about it.

   •What I wore today
-Charcoal grey color designer dress- from Lord and Taylor.
With very classic finish
The dress has very flattering patterns in the back and in the front on its side. The sleeves in the back and front and beaded on net. This dress suits my body type very well and it gives me that mature look.
- Makeup of the day- Makeup forever base foundation with black liner and a dark red lip.
-Hair of the day- I had my hair straight down for Church but it's 90 degrees outside I was almost about to faint. So I tied my hair in a simple sleek pony tail.
-Shoes- black wedges from target
-Jewelry- Pearl and crown sliver chain bracelet. I won it as Miss Spirit of Farmington  definitely one of my favorite piece. Pearl earrings and sliver diamond ring.
That's it for my today's look and this post. Down below and are pictures. Do let me know how you like this look. Until next time, keep hustling for your dreams.

India trip 2015 | Lifestyle

Surprise surprise!

I'm on my way to India. I know almost all of you knew that, I was visiting home this year but, no one knew when exactly. I had finals till December 21st so, that is what everyone knows. I know me flying almost 2 weeks early is a big surprise. I finished my exams all in my birthday week, took off from work, off from catechism classes for a month. I didn't celebrate much for my birthday as I took finals and had to pack but, I'm sure it's all going to be worth it for my first trip back home. I'm super excited and going through lots and lots of emotions right now.
I honestly feel like three and half years just flew by so fast. I feel when you are living your dream life time is pleasant and every moment is blissful. I couldn't be thankful for the life that, I have, I get to live in my dream land. It was my dream since, I was a little girl to live in US and I also used to imagine how it would be like to come back home and now I'm about to experience that in just 10 hours. It feels like just in a blink of an eye I experienced and lived the life of my dreams and beyond.
To my friends and family, I hope you guys won't get mad for not telling you guys before hand. I hope this surprise will make up for it. I hope we will have a reunion. I want to meet you all. I missed you guys everyday. You guys have a place in my heart forever and you all are my greatest childhood treasure so, doesn't matter where in the world I live, I always miss you guys and think about the good old times. I have a lot to say but, not enough time. I have to board to another flight now in just 15 minutes.
See you guys in less then 10 hours. Love you all.

What I wore for 19th birthday | Fashion

Hey guys!
Thank you for all your wishes on my birthday. I'm so grateful to have such wonderful people in my life. You guys constantly put a smile on my face. Even though, I had to take a like a billion exams (only three but still) on my birthday and during the birthday week. You guys truly made them barely for me. I'm going to keep this post super short as I have to study and focus on exams.
I didn't get a chance to go dinner out on my birthday but I did get to buy a birthday dress and get all dolled up. I wore a designer dress from JS collection which I purchased from lord and Taylor's. This dress describes my style perfectly. This colors is of course my favorite. I love royal blue you guys will see my collections of blue dress in many more posts to come. This dress is mid length and has a very flattering and classy fit. It has beautiful sliver detailing. I paired it with long earring, sliver pencil heels and royal blue bracelet. I curled my hair because I love how they make my look more glamorous with an classy accent.
What I did for my birthday and what I got for my birthday will be up on the blog tomorrow make sure to check it out. Until next time keep hustling for your dreams. Xoxo, Jessi
